Capt. Kyle is on a mission to have a great adventure doing what he does best, helping you fish for big Catfish. During the 8-hour trips, you’ll be using techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, and drift fishing, all to get that Catfish. You’ll be going after exciting varieties of Catfish that populate these waters, such as Blue, Flathead, White, and Channel Catfish. Don’t be surprised if other fish species might also bite because these lakes are home to a couple more, but Catfish is king supreme!
Santee Cooper lakes are one of the best destinations in the country for catfishing. These deep waters are home to record-breaking catch, attracting anglers of all levels looking to find that dream big Catfish. The world’s biggest Channel Catfish was caught at Santee Cooper in 1964. Isn’t it time somebody breaks that record?
You’ll be fishing from a 30’ Custom Tritoon with a full enclosure for your convenience, ensuring you’ll be super comfortable out on the water. It has enough room for up to 6 anglers at any time and includes an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. Fishing licenses aren’t included, so get them ahead of time.
The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own. Children are welcome aboard, so you’re good to get the young ones started early. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

BEST TRIP EVER!!!!!!!!
We have fished here on and off for fifteen years.. I have to say “Best trip ever” because… captain kid was great. Knew what he was doing! Keep in contact with us before the trip and answered all my mom questions about food and fishing. I had two teen boy with me and they had a ball! Even put down their phones other than pictures of all the great catfish we caught!!!! If you are look for a great guild and wonderful hard working captain! This is the fishing boat and captain for you! NONE BETTER! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

NIGHT FISHING TRIP
HAD A GOOD TIME. DUE TO EXTREME HEAT, I ASKED CAPTAIN TO START TRIP LATER THAN NORMAL. HE REPLIED QUICKLY WITH A YES. WAS A WONDERFUL EVENING AND A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET. FISHING WAS SLOW STARTING OUT. IT GOT BETTER AS THE EVENING WENT ON. WE CAUGHT ABOUT A DOZEN CATFISH, THE DESIRED SPECIES. SEVERAL WERE SMALL BUT MOST BETWEEEN 6 TO 10 POUNDS. ALSO GOT A BONUS WITH ONE TOPPING 20 POUNDS. Out of nine very good guides Over 55 year's I've had the pleasure to fish with Kyle Austin is #1. Caught 14 nice Blue Arkansas, few channel for baking and a tuřtle.
