Hi! My name is Frank Sargeant
Frank Sargeant began his working career as a guide on the flats at Homosassa, FL, before turning to writing full time. He has authored 10 saltwater fishing books, as well as The Complete Idiot's Guide to Boating & Sailing. He also spent some 20 years as a senior writer for Bassmaster Magazine, covering tournaments nationwide, and was long-time outdoors editor of the Tampa Tribune. He is currently a senior writer for Florida Sportsman Magazine and editor of The Water Wire, as well as a monthly contributor to Game & Fish Publications. His work has won more than 60 national awards, most recently the Traver Award, presented by the American Museum of Fly Fishing for the 2023 competition year. He currently lives in north Alabama on Lake Guntersville.
