Communicating with your customers is one of the most crucial parts of running a fishing charter. That’s why our latest update will help you get in touch with your customers on the go and with ease. Our Instant Messaging service has undergone more than just a facelift.

This new-look service will make it easier to switch between conversations, allow you to call customers directly from Instant Messaging, and let you change bookings and make a new offer without having to exit the screen.
So, what’s new?
First of all, the desktop layout. The old interface used to resemble a traditional email. That meant you’d need to click in and out of messages, going back and forth between conversations. Well not anymore!

We’ve updated the layout to look more like an online messaging service. You’ll see the list of messages in your inbox on the left-hand side of the screen at all times – even when you’re in the middle of answering someone. That means you can see exactly what else you need to respond to and switch between messages, without the hassle of exiting the page and waiting for it to reload.
On the right of the screen, you’ll also see the booking details for the customer you’re talking to. This will help you keep on top of who you’re in contact with, helping you tailor make every experience. We hope this will especially help during the busy upcoming high season!
You Can Also Call Directly from Any Message
Not only that, but the booking details section will contain a direct link to call customers for upcoming bookings. There’s no more having to click through or copy the customer’s phone number and pasting it elsewhere. Within seconds, you can be on the phone with your customer.
Make Changes and New Offers
The final piece of the puzzle when it comes to the new-look Instant Messaging platform is the ability for you to make changes or send a new offer.

If you thought you had to decline or cancel a trip after communicating with your customer, you can suggest new dates or offer a different trip package within just a few clicks. Again, from the booking details section, you’ll have everything you need to give the customer (and yourself) a hassle-free rebooking experience.
This works after a successful trip, too. Agree on a new date with your customer and you can create a new offer through FishingBooker.
And Now Over to You…
These changes should make it easier for you to communicate with and keep your customers. The next time you use Instant Messaging on the web, you’ll see the new design.
To return to the old messaging layout, look for the bar at the top of the screen that says “Switch back to old messenger.” Switch the slider to the left, and your messages will go back to their old look.
How do you find the new layout? We’d love to hear from you. Share any feedback you may have in the comments below this article!
