View information about past dates in the calendar

A lot of captains asked us to make it possible to see their past bookings and notes directly in the calendar. Well, now you can!

You can now select single dates in the past and see the info in the sidebar (the info is read-only, not editable).

This works for dates up to 6 months in the past on the single calendar, and for the past 2 months on the Multicalendar.

Here’s what it looks like:

Support for the old calendar is turned off

At the beginning of this month, we rolled out the new calendar across all FishingBooker listings. While it was previously possible to switch between the two calendars, this is no longer the case.

Now all the listings have the same calendar, we can work on your feedback and make changes and improvements to how trips work as a whole.

There’s only one way you can still see the old calendar, and that’s if your FishingBooker for Captains app is older than 5 months. If this is the case, you’ll soon notice that things aren’t working as well as you’re used to, as it’s out of date. Be sure to update your app so you can continue using all the features you need!

Coming up

We’re working on making the FishingBooker for Captains app even more suited to your business needs. Watch this space for more information about managing your bookings, whether you use FishingBooker on your phone or computer. And feel free to let us know your thoughts and suggestions for improvements in the comments below!

Cat Tyack spends almost every spare moment she has outside. Whether it's hiking, horseback riding or fishing, she's always looking for her next adventure in the great outdoors. Having been fishing on several continents, her most memorable fishing moment was casting poppers to Mahi Mahi in the shadow of enormous oil barges in the Arabian Sea.
