FishingBooker continues to grow its Business Development team and this time we’re looking for a Junior Account Executive to join us.

As a Junior Account Executive at FishingBooker, you will be responsible for making new partnerships and strengthening relationships with existing vendors from all over the world. In doing so, you will be a great part of creating the largest quality inventory of fishing guides, captains and charter operators worldwide.

About the job

Junior Account Executives are responsible for increasing the number of vendors on the FishingBooker platform. You will be driving the vendor acquisition execution by generating and conducting daily calls and sending email campaigns to inbound and outbound leads consistently. You will need to persuade vendors to list and advertise through FishingBooker, negotiate terms with them and ensure better engagement of vendors via our product features in order to grow our business.  In doing so, you will also be helping grow our vendors’ businesses by increasing their chances of being booked by our customers.

The working hours are flexible and you have the freedom to organize your day in a way that suits you the best. Vast majority of our vendors are located in the US time zone, so it’s often necessary to conduct a number of calls in the evening hours.

About the team

Our Business Development team currently consists of six members - a Team Lead, Junior Account Executive, three Account Managers and a Market Research Specialist. This allows us to cover various aspects of the Business Development strategy, such as lead generation, vendor relationships & performance management and inbound and outbound sales practices through vendor calls and email campaigns. 

The successful Junior Account Executive will drive our inbound and outbound sales efforts and help us expand our worldwide supply by acquiring new vendors. You would be managing all the incoming leads and your pipeline through Pipedrive CRM. 

About you

Due to our current team dynamics, we are looking for someone who has 0-2 years of experience in sales and is passionate about reaching set goals to grow the business. 

Having in mind the nature of the role and our main markets being located in the US, your English (both written and spoken) should be native/near-native so that you are able to communicate flawlessly with potential partners. It’s a plus (but not mandatory) if you speak another foreign language due to our diverse markets (such as Spanish). You should also be comfortable with travelling if it is needed (and when safe to do so!). 

The type of degree you have doesn’t really matter. What’s really important is what you can do and how you do it. It’s important that you consider yourself as someone who has a sales mentality with a great drive to grow the business, find new ways to do it and exceed targets. 

We’re looking for people who care about teamwork, openness, and transparency because that’s what we’re all about. We value your opinion and ideas but also want someone who understands the importance of others being heard. We challenge each other, but all remember that we’re here for the same purpose: to do good work together and have some fun. That means you’re okay with direct feedback (giving and receiving) and you’re willing to support your team members with other initiatives.


You will be hired as a full-time employee with a full-time contract (ugovor o radu). We offer competitive salaries and the potential for bonuses after 6 months of employment. 

FishingBooker is a remote-friendly company and the majority of our team works from home. Once you’re fully onboarded, you will be able to choose whether you come to the office or work from the comfort of your home. This means that you don’t necessarily need to be located in Belgrade but, you need to be able to attend the final round of interviews and be onboarded initially in our office.

You will have 20 days’ paid vacation for when you need a break, as well as company-sponsored private health insurance. We are looking for someone who is passionate in sales, and we do not require you to have previous experience. Before you dive in you will have a full onboarding plan where you will learn the ins and outs of the business and how we currently work in the team.
