Jimbo’s Charters runs trips of various lengths in the along Florida’s southwest coast. Captain Jim Conant can launch his boat from one of several locations depending on your preference and where the best fish have been biting, and can take you around Matlacha Pass, Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island Sound, Cayo Costa State Park, Boca Grande pass, Captiva Pass, Redfish Pass, and the Sanibel Causeway in search of a huge variety of species.
You will be fishing aboard a 24 ft Nautic Star bay boat with room aboard for 6 guests. She was brand new in 2016, and is powered by a 200HP Yahama engine up to a speedy 45 knots, making sure you get as much fishing time as possible. The vessel comes equipped with GPS, fishfinder, a trolling motor for sneaking up on those spooky fish, a livewell full of fresh live bait, and everything you will need for a great day of fishing.
The variety of species you can choose from with Jimbo’s Charters is incredible. From fishing for tailing Reds on grassy flats or skipping baits and lures up under the mangroves in search of that trophy Snook, to heading out towards the deeper waters in search of wrecks and wrestling sharks to test your skill and stamina, you’ll find it all and more with Jimbo’s Charters. Captain Jim is happy to take anyone from novice to expert, and while he prefers to use live and cut bait, if you choose he will also troll so you are able to use your lures or fly fish - to Captain Jim, the important thing is that his clients have a great time and catch some awesome fish, and he will do whatever he can to make sure that happens on every trip!
All trips come with bait, licenses, and a cleaning and filleting service for whatever you choose to take away.
