Explore some of the richest fishing grounds off the coast of South Carolina with HotFish Charleston! Guided by Captain Michael Bales, who has been guiding for over 15 years and fishing for over 35 years, you’re sure to have a productive and fun day.
Capt. Mike will take you out on his 18’ Hell’s Bay Boatworks flats boat, built in 2016. It is powered by a 70 HP Yamaha engine that makes it fast on the shallow waters, but silent enough not to spook the fish at the same time. The boat can accommodate 3 people, so it’s perfect for an outing with a few friends.
The captain will provide you with all the fishing gear needed, along with a fishing license. There’s fly fishing equipment on board in case you’re up for a little adventure. If you want to taste the fruits of your labor, the crew will be happy to clean and fillet your catch.
Targeted species will include the delicious and good quality game fish like Redfish, Black Drum, and Spotted Seatrout. These fish populate the inshore and flats waters in the Isle of Palms and Charleston, and you’ll have a great time catching them. Capt. Mike knows these waters well so he’ll take you to the best spots and provide expert advice.
You’ll get snacks and drinks on board for your refreshment, so you only need to bring some sun protection so you can relax and enjoy your day. Wear a hat and some sunglasses, bring some positive vibes, and you’re all set for a great time!
Join HotFish Charleston and fish for the most exciting species in South Carolina, having a great time on the water. This is what they’ll take you out to do!
