Captain Howie Wilson, owner of Gottcha Big Game Fishing comes from a line of English and Scottish fishermen spanning more than 500 years of fishing history in the UK waters. Having fished all over the world, he decided to settle down in Phuket Thailand and set up Gotcha Big Game fishing so that he could pass on the pleasure of fishing to other salts.
Captain Howie will share his knowledge with anglers of all skill levels and ages. Join him on the waters around Ko Racha Yai for some Sailfish action. Target Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and King Mackerel in the morning and admire the area’s white sandy beaches and coconut trees.
If you are up to a challenge, head out to Similan Islands. Check the bite outside the Similan Islands National Marine Park and the local reefs. Enjoy some productive trolling action for Barracuda, Skipjack, Yellowfin Tuna, and Wahoo. Head to the drop-off and target Black Marlin. The opportunities abound!
Gottcha Big Game Fishing will take you out aboard the ‘Queen Marlin’, a 60’ big game fishing boat. She comes equipped with professional fishing gear to satisfy even the most discerning fisherman. Her twin 200 HP Hino Diesel engines will power you to the hottest fishing grounds in Southeast Asia. The Queen Marlin features three Tuna tubes, a freshwater shower, a toilet, two cabins, and a master saloon. Inside, the saloons and cabins are fully air-conditioned and have the comfort of home. All aboard!
The trips are all-inclusive. You will be provided with everything you need to make a great catch possible and come back to shore with your ice-chest full of memories.
