Singing Reel Charters runs year-round fishing trips out of Whale Harbor Marina, in the sportfishing capital of the world — Islamorada. Whether you’re looking for juicy table fare around the reefs and rocky bottoms or want to go further offshore, this charter service will help you get a catch to remember.

Captain Tony has been fishing his whole life. He grew up around the water and has a knack for finding the fish. He knows the good spots of Islamorada and works around the clients to make their trip worth the while. With Capt. Tony, it’s not just about a friendly service, but also but learning what fishing is. He will gladly share tips and tricks with any angler, from a family with kids to seasoned fishermen.

Captain Tony operates the Singing Reel II, a 42’ Hatteras Sportfish Convertible with a 14’ beam. She is powered by Twin 671-t Detriot 485 HP engines, is fitted with only the best electronic equipment, and uses high-quality rods, reels, and tackle. The boat can take up to 6 people. She has 3 berths, a salon, a head with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. For your entertainment, there are also 3 flat screen TVs and a stereo on board.

With Singing Reel Charters, you can try anything from trolling for Wahoo & Mahi Mahi to bottom fishing for Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper and Grouper. You can either explore the reefs or head further out. Captain Tony will help you out and will tailor the trip to meet your needs. His trips are flexible, as he cares about providing an enjoyable fishing experience.

Capt. Tony will supply all the rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait. You basically need to hop a board and get ready for the action. The first mate works for tips, so don’t forget to tip him 20% of the trip price!

Bring your own food and drinks. There might be some bottled water onboard as well. Pack a cap, sunglasses, light clothes, and don’t forget to pack your camera. You will want to have a nice shot of your trip. Invite your friends and come along!

    This eight hour trip is a great choice for more experienced anglers. It can be a mix of reef fishing to catch Yellowtail, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Grouper, and Mutton Snapper, or you can a bit further out to target Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, and Wahoo. Offshore fishing consists of trolling, throwing pitch baits and bottom fishing. Times are flexible. The gear is supplied along with the license, but you will need food and drinks. Pack sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, and a camera.

    On this six hour trip you can head to the reefs and target a variety of Snapper and Grouper, or go a bit further out to get some bigger fish such as Mahi, Tuna or Wahoo. It's a good choice for more experienced anglers. You will get all the gear and the license, but you need to bring your own food and beverages. Pack a cap, sunglasses, and sunblock, as well as a camera. Dress for the weather. There is a cooler onboard for your provisions.

The captain will provide all the fishing gear and the license, while you should bring favorite food, snacks, and drinks. It's also a good idea to bring a cap, sunglasses, sunblock, light clothes, and a camera.

    If you're looking for a nice afternoon, this four hour trip is a great option. It's the best option for families or novice anglers. You will be fishing around the reefs. The target species include Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Grouper, and Mutton Snapper. Captain Tony will supply all the fishing gear and the license. You should bring food, snacks, and drinks. When packing for the trip, don't forget a cap, sunglasses, sunblock, light clothes, and a camera. Departure times are flexible.

    3 Hour Trip, starts at 5:00 PM

    This short trip can be filled with action in no time. You will be going after Tarpon and Shark at the sunset. The departure times are flexible and trips run for three hours. This is your chance to reel in some of the largest fighting fish primarily around the bridges and back bay areas. Light tackle makes this a fun challenge. The captain will provide all the gear, while you should bring some snacks and drinks. The fishing license is included in the trip. Bring a camera.

From Montauk Point to the Canyons off New Jersey to Ocean City Maryland, as well as Costa Rica and Dominican Republic and more, Capt. Tony has fished with success.
