Destin Fishing Outfitters offers some of the best fishing in the Florida panhandle. They love fishing - it’s their passion - and the only thing that makes them happier than being out on the water themselves is seeing their customers having the experience of a lifetime. Let the captain take you on your next fishing trip here on The Emerald Coast.
The Captain is adamant about you catching fish, so he offers a “no fish, no pay” policy on all of his trips!
You will head out on a 21’ Cape Horn center console that is powered by twin 115HP Yamaha outboard motors. The boat comes equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio to get you to the fish safe and fast.
The vessel has room to accommodate up to 4 anglers. Other features include high-quality Shimano fishing gear, a live bait tank, bean bags, and two iceboxes to keep your catch and any refreshments cool during the day.
Destin Fishing Outfitters specializes in nearshore fishing action in the Destin area. They can go from bottom fishing to trolling and incorporate artificial lures. Bottom fishing is mainly for various types of Snapper and Porgies with the occasional Grouper.
Trolling is mainly for King Mackerel and Bonita but you can also catch the occasional Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish. The artificial action will mainly be for Amberjack and Bonita but you never know what will bite!
Trips range from three to eight hours on the water.
Four-hour trips are a beginner trip. It’s a great way to see if charter fishing is for you. You can catch some great fish but won’t always come home with dinner. If you’re very determined to get something for the freezer, the 6-8 hour trips are your winning ticket. Bottom fishing and trolling combos are possible on these trips thanks to the extra time on the water.
Trips include rods, reels and tackle, lures, live bait, fishing licenses, and cleaning & filleting of your catch.
