Captain Willie’s Charters is owned and operated by Captain Willie who is one of the most fun and caring people you will ever meet. He loves taking his guests on trips off of West Palm Beach and into the dazzling blue offshore waters of the Atlantic.
Captain Willie and his team of professional fishermen will be able to guide and teach you anything you need to know about catching a targeted fish, and will make sure you have fun while learning. They are also very child-friendly, so let Captain Willie know how old your child is a few days in advance, and he can customize the trip to make it age-appropriate.
You will fish aboard his 25 foot Pursuit center console boat, which was built in 2007 and has a capacity for 4 guests. It is powered by two 150 HP Yamaha engines with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots and will get you to the offshore waters fairly quickly.
The boat contains a GPS, a VHF radio and a fishfinder ideal for locating fish. There is also an anchoring system and an icebox to help preserve the freshness of your catch until your return to the shore. You will have all the safety equipment as regulated by USCG so you can relax and have a great time.
Captain Willie’s Charter will take you fishing off the coast of Florida into the beautiful crystal blue waters of the Atlantic and, depending on the season, you will be able to target various species at the same time, as these waters are very rich. In the Spring and Fall you’ll be able to target Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Mutton Snapper and King Mackerel. In the winter months, you will be able to fish for Bluefish, Blacktip Shark, Spanish Mackerel and the attractive Sailfish, which is always released.
Captain Willie will provide you with Shimano reels and Penn rods, as well as a Florida Saltwater Fishing License. You will have snacks and drinks in form of soft drinks, ice and water served onboard. If you wish to have lunch, please bring a sandwich. You can have your catch cleaned, too.
