Brian was an amazing charter captain! Very personable and knowledgeable. From checking in before the trip to navigating the waters and channels to get to the best fishing spots you can certainly see the years of knowledge Brian has. I would also highly recommend booking him if you have any children. He was great with teaching kids to fish and the ins and outs of boating etc. Overall I will be trying to book him again and recommend him to everyone I know.

Brought my wife and kids out with Captain Brian and we all had a blast. I told him that although I’d love to hook into something big, the priority is to make sure my kids catch fish and man did he deliver!!! We must’ve caught over 30 small fish. My kids were reeling something in almost every cast!! The last half hour of the day, my family was tired so the Captain decided we would troll for the last 30 minutes and try to hook into something big. Our first pass through a canal, I hook into a massive tarpon. The fish broke water twice about 15 feet away from the boat so we were able to get a good look at him. This fish was at least 6ft long and had to weigh well over 100lbs. I’ve never fought a fish that big before and this was my first time (that I can confirm) that I hooked a tarpon so no surprise, he spit the hook before I could land him. I can’t wait till I find an excuse to come back to FL so I can go out with Captain Brian again!

I hesitate to write a review to reveal just how spectacular our experience was with Captain Brian for fear that it will generate so many new reservations we will have difficulty rebooking with him in the future =)  Captain Brian is as funny as he is an expert angler and it was a great pleasure to learn tips and tricks from such a seasoned professional. He says he is living his dream and every moment spent with him recently revealed just that! We had a fantastic four hour charter experience, caught a ton of fish, learned a lot, and had endless laughs in between! I honestly can’t remember every variety that we caught but there were different types of grunts, mangrove snapper, school master snapper, snook, grouper, file fish, barracuda, margate, ballyhoo, pin fish, lizard fish, pork fish, chub, etc. So much fun, we can’t wait to book again!

Can’t say enough about the absolute great time fishing and on the water we had with Captain Brian! We were right on the action and it was a great balance for my girlfriend as well - it’s a no-brainer to book your trip with him; really can’t recommend Captain Brian enough!!

Captain Brian is an excellent fisherman and a great teacher! We had a great time catching fish in the canals (caught about 20+ fishes within 4 hours). Our trip included trolling and anchored fishing, which brought variety to the fishing techniques, as well as some beginner friendly techniques. Brian is patient and kind, and full of jokes. He also brought iced water and gatorades for us, which was the cherry on top. He seems quite capable and catered to what we wanted. On a scale of 1 to 100, I’d give this experience a 99/100, only because he doesn’t clean your fish.
