Islamorada has a unique benefit of being incredibly close to the Gulf Stream, allowing anglers to get serious offshore fishing done within a short distance from its sandy beaches. Combine that with the outstanding service and experience that Blue Chip Too Charters offers and you have the recipe for an excellent fishing adventure.
The vessel they operate is an impressive 48’ Guthrie, originally built in 1971. Like fine wine, she has only improved with age, all the while being equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and fishfinding systems. You can’t have serious offshore fishing without serious equipment, luckily she’s equipped with a flybridge, outriggers, fighting chair, and a live bait well. Comfort wasn’t skimped on either, with full A/C, a kitchen, beds, and a spacious toilet available on board.
Join Captain Skip Bradeen as he takes you fishing all over the south of Florida, targeting the rich and vibrant species that reside there. The nearshore areas, dotted with reefs and wrecks, contain many species such as Snappers, Groupers, Kingfish, Sharks, Bonito, and others. The real excitement happens further off the shore, where Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and the prestigious White and Blue Marlin reside, ready to battle eager anglers.
Blue Chip Too Charters offers cleaning and filleting your catch free of charge. There is no minimum age for children and the captain provides vests for all sizes. Free parking is available to the clients near the boat ramp. Customers should bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, adequate clothing, and a desire to catch some awesome keepers!
