If you’re looking for a charter that can take you through the hidden mangrove paths to the best fishing spots, all while being surrounded by the stunning nature of Homestead, you’re looking for Bonefish Charters. They’re local guides who will put you on the hottest bite around, so get ready to fight for that trophy fish!
You will fish from their 18’ long flats boat, manufactured by the famous Hell’s Bay company. She can hold up to 2 anglers fishing at the same time, so bring your best fishing buddy with you. Her incredibly shallow draft allows you to quickly cross the flats powered by a 25 HP Mercury engine. She can navigate the mangrove canals or stalk the flats like no other.
Get ready to go after the variety of exciting species that live in the area: Redfish, Bonefish, Tarpon, Snooks, Blacktip Sharks, Mangrove Snappers, and other species that you may run into are all on the catch list. You’ll stick to the fishing methods that produce the best fight, by using light tackle and fly fishing. The charter will supply you with all the equipment you need, whether fly or regular rods. Your guide and instructor on this fishing adventure will be the experienced Captain Brey Abreu, ready to assist and instruct you in whatever necessary.
The captain will clean, fillet, and bag your catch free of charge, but gratuity is always appreciated. Children are welcome on board of Bonefish Charters and Captain Brey loves getting young anglers hooked on inshore fishing. Customers should bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, adequate clothing, and a waterproof camera.
