What a wild day.  We had wind.  We had rain.  We had ocean swells and storms that kept chasing us.  Yet the captain was still able to get us on fish.  We caught a couple mahi before the storms routed us and forced us to find less tumultuous water.  Just when I thought that mother nature would win, Capt Jorge put us on tuna.  We were hauling in tuna three at a time.  So much so, we were getting worn out by the constant reeling.  We also picked up some more mahi and had a tuna taken from my grasp by what we guessed was a large blue marlin.  What a day of fishing.

My son and I were taking our first fishing trip together.  My husband could not make the trip due to health issues. Captain Jorge was wonderful with my son. He really engaged in conversation; explaining and teaching him as we went along. I am very grateful we had this opportunity and plan to fish with him again in the future.

Thank you Crista and Cole. The tarpon did not cooperate very good that night. After 3 good follows and the explosive bite, they still avoided the hook. It happens. I enjoyed both of your company. Thank you again.
