Spend a day fishing with Captain Eric’s Guided Charters! As a Florida native guide, Captain Eric has the knowledge and knows how to ensure you and your guests have a successful experience. SWFL has always been his home, so he’s very passionate about sharing what it has to offer on the water. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a “regular”, you’re welcome to join.
You’ll be fishing on an 18’ Mako boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. She’s powered by a 60 HP Mercury 4 stroke engine and features the latest navigational electronics. Offering a stable and comfortable ride, this boat is just what you need for fishing the flats and backcountry of the area.
Even in such shallow waters, there’s lots of fish to target, so you won’t even feel the need to go further off the coast. Some of the fish you can go after are Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Cobia, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and even Sharks.
Light tackle is the best equipment for these species, as you get to feel every move the fish makes. If you’re a bit more experienced, try out catching fish on a fly.
Your captain covers your fishing equipment and license. He’ll also prepare bottled water, but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks. After the trip, the captain will also clean and fillet your catch.
Captain Eric’s Guided Charters is looking forward to seeing you at the dock.
