Columbia River Fishing Guide
Columbia River Fishing Guide offers year-round opportunities to target freshwater gamefish in the winding waterways of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy great food fishing for King Salmon or Steelhead, or pure sportfishing joy for monster Sturgeon. Whatever you’re after, Capt. Christian is the man to get you on that fish of your dreams.
You will be fishing aboard a 24’ Alumaweld boat. Aluminum boats are loved throughout the Northwest for their hardy build and huge fishing space. The vessel can reach 50 knots on the way to the fishing grounds and has a silent trolling motor for when you get there.
What you fish for depends on when you visit. Chinook are best in spring and fall, running March through May and then August through December. Steelhead can be found in winter or summer, and are best December through March and June through August. Fancy fighting a real monster? Take on Sturgeon in May and June for some real heavy tackle action.
Whatever you’re after, you can rely on a seasoned, local guide and a spacious, reliable boat. All tackle, bait, and lures are provided, and Capt. Christian will even fillet your fish at the end of the trip. All you need to bring is your fishing license, food and drink, and plenty of energy. Because the fish here will put even experienced anglers to the test!
