Trip Summary

Conditions are changing rapidly on Jacksonville's inshore waters and the fishing continues to be excellent. Water temperatures have dropped from the mid-eighty degree range 3 weeks ago to the low 70's now and fish are moving and active. Pictured is a 40" red weighing 25 lbs caught on light tackle along the intercoastal. Charter clients have landed a few of these bulls lately, mixed in with slot size reds, that have strayed miles from their usual haunts in the deeper river waters. Every day brings new adventures! Recent catches also include increasing amounts of flounder, trout and black drum.
