Shrimp Trawl Charters
If you’re dying for a shrimp cocktail or want to teach your kids the joys of the outdoors, a trip with Shrimp Trawl Charters is the way to go!
You can bring up to 3 fishing buddies with you on board the 24’ Blazer Bay. Your safety is Captain Daryl Carpenter’s first priority and he’s got all the required USCG safety equipment ready on the boat. The boat is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine, more than enough to carry you around at a comfortable pace.
Come and catch your own Shrimp. Spend the evening pulling a trawl to see what you catch. This is a small boat trawl trip that is dependent on weather conditions and fluid Shrimp trawl seasons. Bring the kids for an educational experience, it’s a lot of fun for them to pick through the net and learn what’s in the local waters. The by-catch is always amusing for children and adults to check out, you never know what you’ll get onboard!
You can keep the entire catch on the trip if so you wish, but with the possibility of hauling in 100lbs of Shrimp, you might want to leave some to the crew as well. Remember to pack a cooler in your car so you can take your hard-trawled catch home with you.
You don’t have to bring a license or any gear, Capt. Daryl will provide you with everything you need.
Book a trip with Shrimp Trawling Charters today and show your kids the joy of catching your own dinner!
