Captain Randy is very friendly and accommodating. His equipment is top-notch as well as his knowledge of the local waters. We caught some great fish. Our group of 3 anglers had an amazing time!
Don’t bring large bags or coolers, just bring what you need. We used the cooler bags for drinks and snacks…no issues. Also, sunscreen and bug spray are requirements. The mosquitos were out right at sun-up and were after us pretty good but they went away as the sun came up fully. I’d still recommend the bug spray. Polarized sunglasses are nice but not necessary.
I would highly recommend Captain Randy for your next bay fishing trip.

My two boys and I had an absolute blast with Capt Randy. He’s a real pro! This was our first time on a guide trip and we didn’t know exactly what to expect.  Fishing was a bit on the slow side, but we still managed to catch 12 keepers (only 3 shy of our limit) and a bunch of others that had to go back. Randy was a great teacher and was patient with my 13 and 15 year old boys. It wasn’t easy to catching trout, but constant coaching had us nailing them in short order. Great boat and equipment. Highly recommend booking your trip with Randy. Everything is taken care of - poles, bait, good conversation, entertainment and finally the fish cleaning. Awesome day and memory for me and my boys! Randy was GREAT. I’m a Bass Fisherman normally. For those who choose Capt. Randy do what he suggest “Forget what you know about Bass Fishing”. He is So correct. Bay fishing is a whole different World as Technic. I scheduled 2 trips with him in the same week. My 1st to trip I caught 1 Trout. My 2nd trip by Capt. Randy’s training, I caught 3 and lost 2 reeling them in. Not his fault, just a premature “Catch and Release”. I Highly recommend him. He has a Very Smooth riding vessel and tries his hardest to put you on the Fish. He was Wonderful and Fantastic to Myself, Nephew and most importantly My Wife. Once you take a trip with him and speak with him you will think y’all have known each other for ever. Thanks Capt. Randy, I’ll try to be back in September.

The first thing Randy said to us this morning was that it would be a tough day of fishing, and it certainly was, but Randy never stopped trying to get us to the fish, calling his buddies every now and then to see where the fish were biting (everyone was having similar luck). He even extended our trip a bit since we were having such a tough time. It would have been nice to have come back with our limit, but it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying. Randy was great the whole trip, and we’ll definitely be booking him again in the future.
