Corkem Fishing Northwest
Corkem Fishing Northwest wants to take you fishing in the beautiful and pristine waters of Northwest Oregon. Captain Dave Simpson has over thirty years of fishing experience as a skilled fisherman. He uses the finest techniques to make sure you will catch fish.
Dave specializes in catching some of the most sought-after fish in the Pacific Northwest, including Chinook Salmon, Sturgeon, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. You will fish from a comfortable and reliable 22’ Aluminum North River that will accommodate up to 4 anglers. This boat was custom built and is equipped with all the latest electronics, safety equipment, and fishing gear.
Chinook Salmon season begins in early spring and ends in the fall, providing many opportunities to catch the Salmon of your dreams. You will fish for the fall run of Salmon anywhere from the mighty Columbia River at Astoria’s famous buoy 10 to Bonneville Dam and everywhere in between. You will most likely catch spring Chinook in the Willamette or Columbia rivers.
Sturgeon fishing is year-round and you will experience some of the greatest catch-and-release in Oregon. Crabbing season is best in the winter months, so if you are up to the challenge, you will end your day with some tasty Oregon Dungeness crab.
You can choose a nice option of a full-day of fishing. If you prefer or are short on time, 1/2 day trips are available, too. For an extra charge, Dave will even provide lunch and beverages so all you have to do is come aboard, take a seat, and start fishing.
Book a trip today with Corkem Fishing Northwest, and Capt. Dave will guarantee you a premier fishing experience of a lifetime and one you won’t soon forget.
