The boat you’ll be fishing from is a Batt Cat center console, measuring 21’ in length. She’s powered by twin Honda engines with a total of 150 HP behind her. She’s quite spacious for her size, able to hold 7 anglers fishing simultaneously. She’s fully kitted out with the latest electronic equipment, helping you find that fish quickly.

The captain who will be assisting and instructing you on this journey is Captain Steve Goosen. Rest easy, as he’s been a captain for over two decades now and knows all the local hot spots. You’ll go out after Yellowtail Snappers, Geelbek, Snoek, Sharks, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and maybe even a Marlin!

The charter provides its customers with quality equipment to use. There is a minimum age for children: 3 years and older for the bottom fishing and cruise trips, while no children under 10 are allowed on the offshore trip. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, adequate clothing, and a waterproof camera with them. Pickup is available from local hotels and jetties, contact the captain prior arriving to work out the details.

Captain Steve Goosen has a treasure trove of fishing experience under his belt, as he's been a charter captain for over two decades. He says that he was made for the sea and that he isn't afraid to go out to the deeper waters in search of the large pelagic trophy fish. His favorite thing about being a charter captain is the fact that his office is outdoors and that he gets to come to the fresh smell of the ocean every single day.
