Yellowtail Charters – Yellow Tail 42'
Nassau is famous in popular culture for its history with pirates. Nowadays the only plundering done is for fish in the extremely rewarding waters of the Bahamas and you’ll have Yellowtail Charters by your side, to help you reel that booty in.
The vessel you’ll be fishing from is an imposing 42’ Sea Yacht, perfectly suited to fishing the high seas around Nassau. She’s powered by twin 450 HP Cummins engines, you can expect to go around 21 knots at her maximum cruising speed, perfect for trolling for pelagic predators. The amenities are all there too, a flybridge, fighting chairs, equipment for spearfishing and snorkeling. You can also relax, because there’s a full kitchen, bed, A/C cabin, and a multimedia system on board.
The local fish species are bountiful and very fun to catch – Amberjacks, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Snappers, Wahoo, Skipjack Tuna, Sailfish, and finally, the Blue Marlin. Throughout all of this you’ll be assisted and instructed by Captain Shalako Moxey, the owner and a fisherman with over 30 years under his tackle belt. You’ll go reef fishing, bottom fishing, snorkeling and spearfishing, and deep sea fishing. You’ll go up to 20 miles offshore on longer trips.
All the required equipment is provided by the captain. There is no minimum age for children, the captain provides life vests in all sizes. The vessel is disabled accessible and anglers of all skill levels are invited to join Yellowtail Charters on this fishing adventure!
