The guide was great, a younger guy but very good and pleasant to spend a couple of days with. He also tried very had to get
me on top of some fish. But the fishing wasn’t so great which is not the guide’s fault. I caught only one snook over two days and the rest were all panfish size redfish. They are plentiful and fun on an ultra light rig but I was hoping for more diversity and some challenging catches. The time in the Keys was wonderful compared to Seattle’s gloom but for the cost, I wish had better luck. Again, the back country guide service was all I could ask for.

My wife and I decided to go with Capt. Ted for our backcountry fishing trip and we truly enjoyed it! It was an outstanding trip with constant light tackle action with nice jack crevelle and mangrove snappers. The captain is a true professional and really know what he’s doing and you can see that he truly loves it. Going out with Ted guarantees learning a lot and having fun! I recommend him to anyone! We will be back! Craig.
