Fish Local Knowledge are located on Seabreeze Boulevard, minutes away from most Fort Lauderdale hotels and directly next to water taxi stop #7. They provide fast paced fishing adventures aboard their tournament-rigged boat, ‘Local Knowledge’.

Local Knowledge is a classic 43 ft Hatteras sport fishing boat that has recently been restored to make it one of the cleanest and best equipped boats in the area. Her multiple features include a full range of electronics, with two fish finders, GPS and a VHF radio, as well as a CD player and am/fm radio for your enjoyment. There are three fighting chairs on deck for multiple hook ups, and a huge 100 gallon live well will keep your bait at its most enticing for big game fish. Inside, the boat’s air conditioned salon has a full sized coach and two chairs, providing the perfect space to relax, and there are two luxurious staterooms as well as a well equipped kitchen to make you feel at home. Most importantly, there is a clean, full sized bathroom with an electric toilet. With bench seating on the flybridge, this boat also allows you to take in the stunning views of Fort Lauderdale as you draw away from the dock at the start of your fishing trip.

High quality tackle is supplied on board, with Penn International and Shimano rods and reels ranging from 12# to 100# available for you to use. This puts you in the best position to hook the fish of a lifetime, be it Sailfish, Swordfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, or any of the other game fish regularly landed aboard Local Knowledge. You could be bottom fishing, trolling, kite fishing, or jigging with this charter company, who will do whatever they can to put you on the fish.

Everyone is welcome on board, whether they are family and friends or corporate clients. Whatever your group, the captain will always work hard to ensure you have a great day on the water.

We have the resources to book corporate groups of 50 or more people. Multiple boats available!!

So the whole trip was good but we only caught 2 fish which was a little disappointing. The worst part was they kinda snaked us out of half of our fish. Like aren’t they supposed to give us our whole fish but they were like oh no u only get half your fish. I think it’s because they thought since we were young they could just snake us out of half the fish

After speaking to both the captains on your trip it seems like you guys had a really great trip and offered the other fish to the guys. If you would like that fish it’s still on the boat waiting for you with your shoes and other items that you guys left on the boat after your Charter. The captain called and told you about this andyou texted him back that you guys had a great time that the fish was awesome and that’s the last we heard until I just read this review. If you would like to speak to me directly please call the number you called this morning.

A late Christmas present for all the adult boys in my family. Capt Woody was amazing and did an awesome job finding and catching a big variety of fish. He cleaned them and cut everything up for the boys to bring home & we ate like royalty for three days. All 6 from the trip were smiling eat to ear as they told us about the day. The capt even sent me a bunch of photos from the day!!! Can’t wait to book another trip and I guarantee I wont be staying behind next time. Can’t say enough nice things about the capt & first mate!!
