Welcome aboard The Marylander! Maryland’s premier charter boat on the Chesapeake Bay. We are located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, in Stevensville, MD. This is just outside of Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
The Marylander is a 45’ Chesapeake that was commissioned in the spring of 1999. It is currently powered by a 430 HP 6CTA Cummins Marine Diesel engine. This Marylander is equipped with heat and air conditioning for our customers’ and crew members’ comfort. It also is equipped with a restroom, two bunks in the forward cabin, a spacious dinette, and seating under our shaded canopy. The Marylander comfortably cruises at 15 knots and is well-maintained by her crew.
Captain Jason and his crew have a lifetime of experience on the Chesapeake Bay and the Eastern Shores tributaries. They take pride in targeting Striped Bass (“Rockfish”) and other various species such as Blue Fish, Spanish Mackerel, and Black Drum by trolling, live lining, chumming, and jigging. They use the best methods available to target these species and look forward to sharing these experiences with you!
During your trip, Maryland Fishing and Hunting will provide all applicable rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and fishing licenses. We provide these resources to give you the best chance of having a successful day on the Chesapeake Bay!
Once you come back to shore, your catch will be cleaned for you. Please note that this charter has a First Mate to assist you during your voyage. The Mate works very hard before, during, and after your trip and works for tips only. Gratuity is much appreciated.
We recommend bringing a camera to capture those moments and the sights of the Chesapeake Bay! In addition, please consider bringing your own food, drinks, sun block, ice (for your day’s catch), appropriate clothes, and rain gear.
Our Captain and Crew look forward to seeing you on The Marylander, on Maryland’s prestigious Chesapeake Bay!
