Step aboard a 17’ Smokecraft Drift Boat. It provides you with a dual purpose vessel for various functions. But, most importantly, this fishing machine performs well in the river. The boat is just ideally suited for both still water and moving water. With a stable platform and a 9.9. HP Honda engine, you will be able to enjoy a productive experience without even thinking about anything else but fishing! The vessel can seat up up to 4 anglers, but it is more comfortable to have up to three guests on board.

Come fall, and the Salmon River is like a magnet for fishing enthusiasts all over the country. If you want to get the most out of its waters, 3rd Alarm Charters is your best choice. The captain has mastered the waters and is familiar with the hottest spots and the most productive grounds. If you’re after the big fish, no matter which trip you choose you will have all the chances of landing a big one. Dedicate your time to targeting Chinook Salmon or test your angling skills by chasing Steelhead. Or just book two trips and fish for both!

All trips come with rods, reels, tackle, and lures. If you want to go for fly fishing, tell your captain and he will provide you with all the necessary equipment.

Very knowledgeable, experienced and patient captain. Landed 10 pound steelhead and lost one.  Highly recommended craft and captain.
