Are the pressures and stresses of the work week bringing you down? If you’re looking for an activity to mix both fantastic relaxation and thrilling excitement, it’s fishing with Pine State Outdoors! They’ll take you fishing around the gorgeous waters surrounding Sebago Lake and put you on the hottest bite around.

You’ll fish from a 17’ Lund-made aluminum fishing boat, able to hold you and two of your fishing buddies, as well as the guide. She’s got a 75 HP Mercury engine strapped on, so you won’t waste time traveling to the best fishing spots around. A wireless trolling motor is on board as well, so you won’t spook any fish while you creep up. This boat is fully equipped for a fun, safe, and memorable experience on the water.

Your guide in this freshwater adventure will be Noah Tipton, a Portland native who has spent many years fishing Maine’s bountiful waters. The species you’ll target are all prime examples of the excellent fishing the area offers: Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Brook, Brown, Lake, and Rainbow Trouts, Crappies, Pikes, and others you run into.

Captain Noah will provide you with top-of-the-line fishing equipment from famous brands such as St. Croix, Abu Garcia, GLoomis, and Quantum. Snacks and drinks are provided on all trips. Lunch is provided on all trips as well, though it’s a light lunch for the half day trip and a shoreside cookout for the full day trip. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and adequate clothing.

The Captain will meet you at the body of water you choose to fish, so contact him prior to arriving.

When the water temperature heats up during the Summer, the night fishing for big bass can really turn on. This is an incredibly fun way to fish and is one of my personal favorites. Calm water and no-one else out on the lake make for a serene, relaxing setting - but be prepared for the sound of that big bite to get your heart pumping! The majority of this fishing is topwater casting, but other techniques can work too. Last summer I caught my personal best Largemouth while night fishing. It was almost 8lbs!

The Sebago Lakes region of Maine offers some of the most diverse fishing opportunities in the state. Spend the day on the big lake (Sebago), targeting landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout or visit one of the smaller surrounding ponds for Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout. The Bass fishing is a great mix of Largemouth and Smallmouth. This region’s fishery is diverse enough that you can spend the day chasing any one of the above species, or a combination of several. It’s up to you!

Spend the entire day targeting the wonderful species that live in the Sebago Lake region. The large lake (Sebago) offers great fishing for Salmon and Lake Trout. The smaller ponds and lakes surrounding it are teeming with excellent Rainbow, Brook, and Brown Trouts. You can also find both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass in the area as well. A shoreside cookout is included in the price of the trip.

Pine State Outdoors is owned and operated by Noah Tipton, a Portland native who has enjoyed many years fishing Maine’s beautiful waters. He's been fishing for over 15 years, all in the great state of Maine. He absolutely adores the outdoors and loves teaching others to love fishing. According to him, the best moment on a fishing trip is the sight of his customer's face as they reel in a good catch. Working in the city’s restaurant industry has also helped him to hone his cooking skills - whether its just a quick sandwich, or a full shore lunch, his food is sure to please!
