Saltwater Safari Guide Service is the result of one man’s lifelong love of the ocean. Captain Robert Fazio has been fishing these waters for well over 50 years and welcomes you aboard to experience one of the best saltwater fisheries in the Northwest. Tillamook Bay is famous for its fall Chinook season, and the open Pacific waters draw keen anglers from across the country.
Spend your day targeting one or both of these species aboard a 22’ Seaswirl fishing boat. This no-nonsense angling machine offers masses of open fishing space with a convertible top to keep you comfortable, whatever the weather. She was completely overhauled in 2018 and now cruises at an incredible 45 knots thanks to her twin supercharged Mercury Verado outboards.
Not that you will need to head far. Even within the bay itself, you can find plenty of tasty table fare to take home for dinner. Head out into the open Pacific waters, and you can also hook into trophy-sized Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) Salmon. You will be using quality light tackle, trolling with dipsey divers and cut or whole Herring to bring in the biggest around.
And Saltwater Safari Guide Service offers even more than the fishing itself. The area’s nature and wildlife are so impressive you will almost forget you’re out here to catch fish! Watch whales breach and porpoises play as you comb the coastal waters for trophies. Take in Oregon’s stunning seascape while reeling in delicious fish for dinner. Crabbing is included for free if you decide to go on a fishing trip. This is an experience you will treasure for life.
Anglers of any age are welcome, and Capt. Robert loves nothing more than to get beginners reeling in their first fish. All tackle and bait is included, and your catch will be cleaned and filleted free of charge at the end of the day. Just bring your fishing license, food and drink, and the desire to battle, and Capt. Robert will take care of the rest.
