M Sport Fishing Cabo - Mextime 31'
M Sport Fishing Cabo makes anyone fall in love with fishing. They offer “open boat” trips for those anglers who want to share their fishing experience with other fishermen from all over the world.
The company was founded by Roberto Olascoaga, who moved to the beautiful Cabo San Lucas from Zihuatanejo back in 1986. M Sport Fishing Cabo owned just one boat and later turned into a fleet of comfortable sportfishing vessels. The letter “M” from the name refers to that first boat, a little panga from Marea.
Roberto works with his son Poncho and grandson “Tito”. The company turned into a family-owned business that has gained an impressive reputation.
Your fishing trip will take place aboard the ‘Mextime’, a 31’ Bertram. She was built in 1983 and overhauled in 2017 with twin 250 HP Cummins engines and a full range of electronics, technologies, and accessories.
The Mextime is operated by Captain Filiberto “Fili” Ramirez, who has been fishing for 14 years. He will take you battling anything from Amberjack and Mahi Mahi to Roosterfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Dusky Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, Sailfish, and various types of Marlin.
All trips come with quality rods, reels, and tackle. You will have to purchase a fishing license, which is available at around $17. Drinks, ham sandwiches, cookies, fruit, chips, and burritos are available at an extra cost.
