When it comes to fishing, the captain’s motto is ‘Let’s go catching not fishing.’ He’ll take you fishing in the state waters of Apalachicola Bay and Apalachicola River, but also in the waters of St. George Island, and Port St. Joe areas. You’ll be targeting various species, such as Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Black Drum, Tripletail, Flounder, and many others. Expect to do some trolling, spinning, drift, and bottom fishing. In case you’d prefer to go on a flounder gigging adventure, that could be easily arranged with the captain.
Kids are more than welcome on board, and they should be at least 5 years old. The captain will provide lifejackets for them, as well as all the fishing equipment you’ll need. From Shimano spinning reels to Penn 330 GTI, you’ll be using top-quality fishing gear. Catch cleaning and filleting is available for an additional fee and the captain can also recommend you the best local restaurants to cook your catch.
