Dee Cee is a 42’ Sportfisherman, powered by twin 3208 Catterpillar engines, able to accommodate up to 6 passengers. It is a custom-fiberglass-over-mahogany vessel, outfitted with a spacious salon that has both a dining table as well as a couch, for those that wish to rest or get out of the sun for a little while. For fishing, the crew utilizes Penn and Dawia fishing reels, and their fishing cockpit is equipped with 4 fighting chairs. The boat employs Lowrance electronics to help find the fish quickly.

Captain Chuck, the operator of Dee Cee, has been living in the Keys since he was 2 and has actually owned his first boat at the age of 10. Chuck started in the charter business back in 1975 as a mate, and became a Captain in 1983. His longest tenure as a Captain is at the Holiday Isle Marina, where he’s accumulated over 36 years of experience.

Dee Cee fishes for a variety of pelagics all year round. The winter months are typically more focused on Sailfish, Kingfish, Cobia, Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper, Grouper and more. In the spring and summer, Chuck usually targets Wahoo and Dorado, Tuna, Marlin, Amberjack, Permit and others. Whether you’re an experience angler or a complete beginner, Dee Cee is at your service. All fishing equipment, live and artificial bait are provided by the crew - all you need to do is bring your own food and drinks.

Captain Chuck and first mate Mike were awesome! They were friendly, funny, and relaxed. You could tell both had a lot of experience and knowledge. Captain Chuck took us right out to a great spot where we caught tons of yellowtail! Then took us to deeper water for some Amber Jack. After researching other options on this site, I couldn’t be happier with choosing Dee Cee!

The captain tried hard to put us on fish. The Mahi we were hoping for were elusive but when we did find them the mate did a poor job of communicating resulting in two lost fish. The mate also had an attitude with the lady anglers on board. 5 out of 6 of us are experienced anglers.
