Dee Cee runs year round fishing trips out of Islamorada, FL. These fisheries are supreme and can yield anything from a Permit to Marlin. Whether you’re a seasoned angler of a novice fisherman, Captain Chuck will make sure you have an unforgettable trip.
The fishing grounds around Islamorada boast a rich array of species. During the winter you will typically target Sailfish, King Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Mutton Snapper, and Grouper. Get ready for trolling and bottom fishing! Spring and summer are a good time to target Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, or Permit and many other species closer to the shore.
You will be fishing from a 42’ Sportfisherman, a custom built vessel that can accommodate up to six anglers. She is powered by a twin 3208 Catterpillar engine. The boat is large and features a spacious salon with a dining table, a couch, toilet, four fighting chairs in the cockpit, and assortment of Penn and Dawia fishing reels. The crew utilizes Lowrance navigational electronics to put you on track and help you reach the fisheries without hassle.
Captain Chuck has been fishing for over three decades and knows these waters intimately. He actually owned his first boat at the age of 10. Having worked as a mate first, Chuck went on to become a captain back in 1983. Ever since then he’s been helping people have a nice time on the water and come back with an enviable catch.
When you’re preparing for the trip, there are just a couple of things to have in mind. The captain will supply all the fishing gear and bait, but you should bring food, drinks, sunblock, a hat, comfortable clothes, and a camera. Then hop onboard Dee Cee and have a blast with Captain Chuck!
