Salty Roots Fishing - 22' Skiff

Oleander Drive
Wilmington NC, United States

Join Salty Roots Fishing and Captain Scott Burrell for an exciting fishing trip out of Wilmington, NC. Captain Scott has been fishing these waters during his entire life and knows them like the back of his hand. He nurtures a family-friendly environment on his boats, and even the little ones can have loads of fun.

You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Southern Skimmer that’s powered by a single 140 HP Suzuki engine. With enough room for up to six anglers, the whole family can come along for the ride. Apart from the necessary navigation electronics to make sure you’re on the fish at all times, the boat also has a wireless trolling motor to make sure you don’t scare them off when you do get close.

This particular boat is primarily geared for inshore fishing, and there’s plenty of it to be done around here. Some of the species you’ll be targeting include Redfish, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, and more. If you’re looking for something else to do apart from fishing, Captain Scott offers shelling trips where you’ll visit several oyster farms and have a great time.

Captain Scott will make sure you have all the fishing gear needed for a productive time on the water. This will include rods, reels, and terminal tackle. He’ll also pick you up for free if you’re within 10 miles, so what are you waiting for?
