Eastern OBX Guide Service
The Outer Banks are home to many amazing fish just waiting for the right angler to come along and give them a proper fight! Eastern OBX Guide Service lives for the battle too and will take you to the hottest fishing spots in this bountiful area.
Join Captain Jonathan Oglesby on board his 24’ center console, manufactured by the Privateer company. She’s quite spacious, so bring up to 5 of your fishing buddies! A full suite of navigation and fishfinding electronics are on board, so you can find your prey without breaking a sweat.
Capt. Jonathan will take you after a wide range of gorgeous local fish, depending on the season. During the fall you can expect to mainly target Spotted Seatrout, Black Seabass, and Black Drum. When the weather’s hot the action heats up too, with Redfish, Cobia, Sharks, Flounder, and Spotted Seatrout being the main targets. There’s high-speed fishing too, thanks to the bountiful Kingfish and Spanish Mackerel in the area.
You’ll have the chance to try out many different techniques with Capt. Jonathan, such as bottom fishing, spinning, popping, drifting, or fly fishing. You can even do some bowfishing! You’ll have to provide your own bows for that, though. The captain will supply you with high-quality equipment made by Penn and Okuma.
There’s no minimum age for kids, personal floatation devices are provided upon request. You can also use live bait with this charter, a live bait well will keep it spry and appetizing – only used certain trips though.
So grab your sunscreen and polarized sunglasses, leave your worries behind and book a trip with Eastern OBX Guide Service, you’ll cast off on a memorable fishing adventure!
