Whitsunday Fishing – Moonshine
If you’re looking for a “bucket list” fishing adventure, what could be better than wetting your line near the Great Barrier Reef? Pay Whitsunday Fishing a visit, and that’s exactly what you’ll be doing!
Captain Christopher Collins is the man at the helm of this charter, and he has plenty of local tips and tricks to share with you. Along with an experienced crew, he runs a variety of full and multi-day trips that are suitable for a wide range of anglers. Even better, they all allow for plenty of time to explore these majestic waters!
You’ll be spending your adventure on board a 40’ Black Watch flybridge vessel. She can accommodate up to 6 guests, making her the perfect option for families and larger groups of anglers.
Decked out with a full toilet, sleeping area, kitchen, air-conditioning, and a multimedia system, you’ll spend your day (or longer!) on board in plenty of luxury and comfort. Your vessel is also decked out with top-quality navigational and safety gear, including life jackets in a range of sizes.
If you opt for a multi-day adventure, you’ll cruise around Airlie Beach’s reefs and islands, where you’ll target world-famous fish such as Black Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna, as well as local favourites such as Nannygai and Coral Trout. In addition, you’ll be provided with tasty full meals, as well as soft drinks and morning/afternoon tea.
Guests who are unsure about committing to an overnight trip will get to experience an incredible full day of fishing, targeting Nannygai, Coral Trout, Snapper species, and whatever else is biting. Soft drinks and snacks will be provided.
Your captain and crew are also happy to tailor your trips to suit your needs, so if you’d like to try out techniques such as popping and trolling, or target a certain fish, just let them know in advance.
Every trip includes rods and reels, bait, lures, and tackle. All you need to do is grab a fishing license and come aboard Whitsunday Fishing for an incredible adventure!
