Captain Kenneth Christie has been running fishing charters out of the Old Bahama Bay since 2001. With years of experience and knowledge of the local waterways, Kenny is happy to say his trips end up a success a majority of the time, whether you catch just enough to eat, or more than enough to feed the staff at the Teaser’s beach bar. One way or another, Captain Kenny is always determined to show his guests to a great time on the productive waters of Freeport, Bahamas.
Kenny offers a variety of customizable packages aboard the ‘Rough Life’, his 20 foot long 1996 legacy deck boat, now re-powered with a 140HP Suzuki engine. The boat has a maximum capacity of 6 anglers per trip. On snorkeling tours, you are taken to some of Freeport’s most beautiful reefs, where you get the opportunity to discover a vast diversity of marine life inhabiting these waters, including stingrays, turtles, loads of tropical fish and much more. If you opt for an island picnic, you’ll be dropped of to an island that you’ll have virtually all to yourself, about 5 miles away from the beautiful resort.
Fishing-wise, Captain Kenny specializes in various fishing methods, such as bottom fishing, handline and spearfishing. On his reef fishing trips, you’ll get to experience how the locals of the West End settlement fish with a hand line. Although there are fishing rods made available for your consideration, testing your skill at the traditional method of handline fishing is truly a unique experience.
Fishing licenses and a cooler with ice are included in the trip price. You are free to keep anything you catch, with Captain Kenny gladly cleaning and filleting the catch for you upon request.

Captain Christi and his mate Brandon could not have been a better to Sharon and I. I was an absolutely fabulous trip. I cannot recommend them HIGHLY enough. Thanks for the memories, hope to do it again real soon.
