Lock N Load Sport Fishing Charters operates out of Raleigh Quay, Cayman Islands and straight into epic battles just a few miles offshore. Capt. David and his crew are hot off the tournament circuit, fishing around the world and bringing back the skills to get you on that fish of a lifetime.
The Lock ‘N’ Load is a world away from the pangas that line Cayman’s coast. At 60’ long, she has more space inside than the average house. The vessel was completely overhauled in 2018, and now features twin Detroit Diesels kicking out 2,400 HP between them. She’s big, but she sure isn’t slow!
The boat’s air-conditioned interior boasts three staterooms, two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, and a spacious salon with plenty of comfortable seating. She even has Wifi onboard. Out on deck, you have a huge flybridge and acres of space to relax with a beer while you take in the view.
Not that you have to wait long for the action. This is a serious sportfishing boat, with tournament-ready equipment to match. CHIRP electronics scan the water in every direction, while her Furuno radar works on overdrive to find birds on the surface.
Hit the weed lines and follow the birds in search of big game pelagics like Marlin and Sailfish. These trips use outriggers, kites, dredges, lures, and live Ballyhoo. Pair all that with Shimano Tiagra 50s, and up to nine lines in the water at once. These guys really take things seriously.
Fancy fishing deeper? Grab the Shimano Tanacom Bull 1000 electric reels and start hauling fish 1,000 feet up from the floor! You can target deep-water reef species like Snapper and Grouper, or go even harder and try for Swordfish. Whatever you do, you’re in for a charter unlike anything else Jamaica can offer.
Lock N Load Sport Fishing Charters offers serious tournament-style fishing to every group that steps aboard. But that doesn’t mean it’s only for seasoned anglers. All are welcome aboard and he will tailor each trip to suit you.
