Captain Dick Torelli, an Erie, PA native, owns and operates Ciao Charters. With over 35 years in business, this is one of the most experienced charter services in the area.
If you want to fish like the locals, you have found the right place. Capt. Dick will gladly put his wealth of local knowledge and talent to work for you.
You will be fishing aboard a 30’ Penn Yan boat. Built back in 1992, the boat was overhauled in 2016 and comes powered by a pair of Mercury engines. It can get you and five fishing buddies to the hottest spots quickly and safely.
The boat is rigged with fishfinding and navigational electronics, as well as professional accessories. There is also a private restroom on board along with a kitchen area.
Ciao Charters specializes in targeting the best species Lake Erie has to offer. Troll with planner boards, downriggers, deep running dips divers, and plugs for Walleye. Head to the deeper water during the summer months to get a healthy dose of Steelhead or troll in shallow waters in fall. Finally, add Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout to the list of your potential catches!
All trips come with the use of rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures. All keeper fish will be cleaned at the end of the trip. You will need to bring valid fishing licenses, along with your own food and drinks.
Please note, the First Mate works for tips only.
