First Down Charters - 36'
First Down Charters has something for everyone. Master angler to seasoned veteran – everyone will be able to hone their skills and break their personal records. Join Captain Kevin and get the waters all to yourselves!
Whatever your angling ambitions might be, Capt. Kevin will help you find your match. Featured in an edition of Saltwater Sportsman Magazine and an episode of “Captain George Poveromo’s World of Salt Water Fishing” and “Reeling in the Keys,” Kevin has an impeccable reputation. He has a friendly and outgoing personality that helps him turn what would be a good fishing trip into one that you will remember forever.
Explore the beautiful reefs and deep waters, targeting a large variety of fish species. Go for anything from Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Tuna to Snapper, Hogfish, and Grouper, as well as Yellowtail Snapper using a secret technique.
Otherwise, spend your night battling the “Unicorn of the Fishing World” – Cubera Snapper. These mighty monsters chase Sharks away and can easily excite even the most experienced angler. Using live lobster or giant blue crabs, you will be able to have a nice workout with your rod and reel. These trips are run 4 days before and after the full Moon.
All of that magic happens aboard Capt. Kevin’s 36’ Hatteras sportfisher. This seaworthy fishing machine was refurbished in 2017 and comes powered by twin 315 HP Cummins engines. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers to fish in comfort and style.
The boat is rigged with everything you may need for a successful day on the water. You will be provided with all gear, tackle, lures, licenses, and a complimentary fish cleaning service. Just bring your desire to catch fish and hop onboard!
