I only have good things to say. Captain Eric met us at the harbor. He called us the day before to go over all the details. He was extremely curteous when we met and his boat was clean. Everything we needed for the excursion was provided. He took us all over the bay chasing the schools of fish. We had an excellent time and he made sure we all got some great catches. When we got back he prepared our catches for us to take home. We would be happy to use his charter again.

Captain Eric was terrific. We had a great time and caught plenty of fish. We hit our limit and bought home dinner. As an added bonus we pulled up next to a lobster boat out in the ocean and got 2 fresh lobsters. Highly recommended and will definitely go out again with Eric when we visit again Thanks Captain Eric and be well Liz and Seth

Captain Eric Nelson is a highly experienced fisherman and boat captain, with decades of experience. He’s friendly, amiable, proactive, and and excellent/responsive communicator. He went out of his way to ensure that my 15-y.o. son had the salt-water adventure of a lifetime. He used sonar to locate (mackerel?), and even when other boats (with whom he was in radio contact) did not catch _any_fish (Mem Day Weekend, 2024, one week earlier than usual), Eric was all ove lr it. My son returned with macs, flounder, and they even caught striper (though striper went back in the water). Captain Nelson has decades of experience in commercial fishing. Eric is a fabulous captain and guide. He is very dedicated to finding hot spots and he knows the local waters very well. The day was slow for many of the the charters the day we were out but we still caught strippers and a bluefish. He did a great job teaching me how to use a pencil popper, which is a fun and engaging way to catch fish in the top water and way more fun than trolling. Eric has great stories of fishing lore in the area. Ask him about the lobster diver and the whale. Eric is a must book guide. You will really enjoy yourself!

Awesome fishing experience with Captain Eric! We booked our ½ day charter during a week long trip in August 2023 on the Outer Cape. Eric contacted us the day before to move back our departure time because weather conditions looked less than ideal. We arrived and headed out. I think Eric had hoped waters would calm by delaying, but once we rounded the top of the Cape, it was clear conditions would not yield success. He said to our teenage son “I’m not feeling it” and asked if we could reschedule. We have never had a charter company do that before. Some take you out despite poor conditions and send you home disappointed. Not Captain Eric! This turned into the highlight of our trip. We caught terrific stripped bass and had a fantastic time. Thank you Eric!

As we boarded his boat, captain explained in detail the latest regulations for stripers in the area. Throughout our trip, he adhered strictly to these guidelines which we respected. After a quick ride out of the bay, we arrived at our first spot and we immediately started landed blues and stripers with surface lures. After those fish moved along, so did the boat. We pivoted to a new spot and new tactic and started fishing off the bottom. This proved to be very successful as we were quickly catching oversized and keeper stripers. This was our second consecutive year on this boat and we plan to continue each summer. Cap has a great, easy going personality and his knowledge of outer cape fishing is exactly what you need to fish these waters. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

We caught a bunch of fish - great action! Eric knows these waters like the back of his hand. Kept us on fish. When one spot stopped producing he moved us right away. He helped my kids a lot, freeing me up to keep fishing. He turned us on to a great breakfast place that had an egg sandwich named after him! Definitely coming back.

Caught lots of fish. Captain Eric is a great guy and did everything in his power to get us on fish all day. We would 100% recommend him.

We had a great time. It was a slow start in the morning but the captain figured it out and we got rolling and caught a few blue fish and a bunch of stripers. None in the slot but not Much anyone can do about that. Great day on the water and ended the day checking out some whales.

Friendly, knowledgeable, captain, great boat for a small parties going out for a striper or bluefish. We went out of Pamet in Truro, fishing off of Wood End and Race Point. Caught quota of striped bass, had great wildlife viewing with all manner of seabirds, dolphins, whales, seals, etc. it checked all the boxes, as they say.
