Alaskan Widespread Fishing – Drift Boat
It comes as no surprise that the mighty Kasilof River is every freshwater angler’s dream. And it’s even better if you are coming to Alaska and have never fished before. With Alaskan Widespread Fishing Adventures, you are in good hands.
There is nothing more exciting and rewarding for Mindy and Reubin and their crew than seeing their client’s face change from anticipation to exhilaration. This happens the moment that they realize they have fooled a fish, holding a fishing rod, while at the other end they see a living breathing catch! This sometimes life-changing event is something Mindy and Reubin, the owners and operators of the company, love the most.
The crew will work hard to make you feel like you are the luckiest person in the world. You will be exploring the winding waters of the Kasilof River, targeting trophy Salmon and Trout. You can use fly or spinning gear with bait and lures, going for trolling, casting, back-bouncing, and wading.
All of that happens aboard a 20’ Willie drift boat, built back in 2009 and refurbished in 2016. This boat also has a trolling motor for a quiet ride, along with a cooler loaded with bait (when open) to make sure nothing can resist your hooks.
Your trip with Mindy and Reubin will include quality gear and tackle, along with fly fishing equipment, bait, and lures. Fishing licenses are something you will need to take care of, along with food and drinks.
