Top notch experience with Captain Devon Lachney. He has an excellent demeanor with children and adults, very friendly and helpful. I had hurt my knee so I wasn’t able to fish very much but he really showed my 13 year old son who loves to fish a great time. Not only did he put us on the fish, king mackerel, barracuda, amberjack, snapper and many others but he also gave my son fishing tips and helped him land fish which were a little too large for him. He even moved my car close to the dock so I wouldn’t have to walk as far. A+ experience!

We had an amazing time with Captain Devin! I usually fish from the shore or freshwater, so this was an amazing experience to get out the sea. We got at least 15 miles out and were able to catch King mackerel and a good number sharks. We even got the wrestle a hammerhead! The very first 2 to line on were Mahis, but unfortunately I was still trying to brush up on my saltwater fishing skills and they managed to get away from me. I had no experience on deep sea/ large fishing but Captain Devin was patient and clearly directed me and my companions on the skills and tactics to reel them close.  Being able to see the Mahi’s up close to the boat and witness those bright beautiful colors was amazing! The water was just a tad bit rough but with Captain Devin behind the wheel it was a smooth and enjoyable ride! Though only a few other boats managed to bring in catches while many were having no bites, Captain brought us where we hooked at least a large/1 meter stingray, five sharks, three mackerel, a hammerhead, and at least 10 other big bites we fought that got away. He even taught me a bit about how different instruments on the boat work and was patient and attentive with us amateurs the entire time. We all were able to learn valuable skills from this amazing Captain and I would highly recommend him!

We had an awesome fishing experience…captain Devon was knowledgeable, patient, helping us in every way, and our Grandson had the fishing fight of his life, catching a Hugh shark and a Hugh sting Ray. also countless smaller fish….would I go again….oh hell YES!!!!

  On the way out we saw tuna boiling and a pod of dolphins. We fish 20 miles out. Captain Devon worked hard to put us on fish. We caught a lot of small ones and a Remora and non keeper Cobia. At the very end of the Trip we hooked really nice sailfish. A storm blew up and Captain Devon worked his way around it, we barely got wet. I would highly recommend Captain Devon for his knowledge and his capabilities as Captain.

Luckily had a last minute trip with Capt. Devon. Just wanted to do a near land trip and catch some fish. He put us on a few different species of fish and we had a good time. We will try to find time to go again in the future.
