Reeling in a record-breaking Bluefin Tuna is about as good as sport fishing can get. A distant dream for the vast majority of fishermen, World Record Tuna knows how to make that dream a reality. They specialize in putting anglers in front of massive monster Bluefins!

The company’s 44’ fishing boat was made for Nova Scotia fishing. Designed and built for chasing down Bluefins, she’s the perfect base for stalking the blue waters. Spacious and with a large deck, up to 4 anglers to move around the boat freely while battling Tuna. Her hull design and comfortable cabin allow you to be protected from the elements and make for a smooth and stable ride.

You will be provided with high-quality custom-built carbon E-glass rods, to give you an edge in reeling them in.

The main and only target of this show is giant Bluefin Tuna. Don’t worry if you don’t have two decades of fishing experience behind you – anyone can hook one up! Thanks to the crew’s dedication and teaching skill, World Record Tuna has trips suitable for beginners, amateurs, and seasoned sea wolves alike.

That’s not all. This charter can offer you something absolutely unique – a chance at an official IGFA record! If you want to try for a record Bluefin, contact the captain in advance so you can work out the details. You’ll be on your own in hooking, reeling, and battling the fish though!

If you’ve ever dreamed of hooking up one of the most prestigious fish in the world, book a trip with World Record Tuna and get ready to cast off on a once-in-a-lifetime fishing adventure!

About the Captain

Capt. O.G. Aycan
Canso, Nova Scotia, Canada
My passion for fishing began at a very early age and has never wavered, from Giant Bluefin in the Atlantic to trout in Colorado. I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of Istanbul Faculty of Fisheries and recently, I spent time satellite tagging Sandbar sharks and thousands of large pelagic species to benefit the sustainability of our world’s marine life. I am recognized by the University of Massachusetts Large Pelagic Research Centres ‘Tag A Tiny’ program that help Atlantic Bluefin movement and migratory patterns. I focused on more than just catching fish as seen by my desire for learning and volunteer work. Teaching is my other focus. There is a refined technique required to be successful with large gamefish and teaching this to others so they can take those skills with them and be successful fisherman on their own is also top of mind when I am fishing. I share my unmatched expertise that is required to be safe, successful and sustainable with fisherman coast to coast.
