Captain Ben, of Good 2 Go Fishing Charters, is proud to offer a variety of trips for both the experienced angler and people who have not fished before. They offer trips all year long, so there will always be something to catch with them.
Capt. Ben runs a 38’ Luhrs boat, with twin 350 HP Caterpillar engine and a cruising speed of 22 knots. This beautiful boat can easily have 6 people fish at once without crossing lines. She has all the navigational equipment to find where the fish are hiding and get your lines in the water as fast as possible. Less time spent traveling means more time fishing!
The boat has a flat screen TV with DVD, AM/FM radio, and a CD player. All the comforts of home are at your disposal, including A/C and heaters. There are two couches, and plenty of room in the cockpit to relax and fish. What more could you ask for?
During the summer months in the lower Chesapeake Bay, you can expect to catch Cobia, Red Drum, and Black Drum. For anglers interested in catching fish using lighter tackle, Go Fishing Charters also offer bottom fishing trips for Flounder, Spot, and Croaker. In the wreck fishing, you’ll target Spadefish and Sheepshead. During the winter, they offer rock fishing charters for the best Striped Bass fishing in the Chesapeake Bay! There really is a fish for everyone, depending on your preferred technique and the season.
Bring your food and your drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a desire for a fun day. Captain Ben can’t wait to welcome you on board. Please note, trip prices are “for the boat” and do not include the mate’s tip, which is normally 20% of the total fee. Don’t forget your cooler to take your catch home in, and you are good to go.
