Departing from Ponto do Ouro in the extreme south of Mozambique, Gaf Adventures will introduce you to this area’s unforgettable deep sea fishing. With two boats and a variety of departure points, this charter’s aim is to provide you with a fishing trip that suits you down to the ground.
At 28’, this boat can take up to 6 people fishing in style. With a T-top for shade, plenty of rod holders, and padded seating, this stable vessel has been designed for Mozambique’s productive blue waters. Its twin Suzuki 2-stroke engines will help you access them quickly, too.
Your trip will start by dry launching from one of the local beaches. From there, you will head out to where the Indian Ocean meets the Mozambique Channel. This is a real big game highway, with everything from Spanish Mackerel to Yellowfin Tuna and Blue and Black Marlin making their through these waters at various times of year. All these and more are available to catch aboard the Gaf Adventures!
Shimano and Daiwa rods and reels will be waiting for you onboard, as well as a selection of fishing lures. You may even find live bait in the livewell before you even leave the shore; if not, you can limber up by catching it at the start of the trip. Either way, there will be a first mate on hand to assist you throughout your journey, helping you with everything from baiting your hook to pulling in your catch.
Once back at the dock, the crew will help clean and prepare your catch for you to take away. All you need to do is purchase a fishing license before your trip and get ready for an unforgettable experience on the water!
