This trip was incredible! Don’t even hesitate thinking about going, just book this! You will get into a skiff that Medz navigates through the Hopkins Bay with a lifetime of skill. We all caught a cooler full of fish, and I even got to try fishing with a hand line like the locals have been doing for hundreds of years. After fishing, we stopped at a private little island where they provided a delicious lunch. Then we headed out to the barrier reef for a snorkel filled with sea life. Jeff and Medz we’re professional, kind, and very helpful. We would come back anytime and we 100% recommend this tour.

My wife and I took a day snorkel and fishing trip with Getting to Know Belize Adventures during the early times of the Corvid-19 scare. The world was stressed including us but both Medz and Jeff set all that aside and treated us to a wonderful day of fishing and snorkeling. Medz was a wealth of information of the history of Belize, Hopkins as a City, and too many other topics to list. At the beginning of the day we were Bernadette and Doug and by the end of the day we were Mama and Pops, We give the highest recommendation to Getting to Know Belize Adventures and especially to Medz and Jeff.

Awesome authentic fishing experience with some snorkeling as well. Even though it rained we had a great time netting sardines in the morning and snorkeling and fishing into the afternoon. Some rain held us up but was welcomed when we waited it out on a island with a bar. Both Milton and Big Grouper had life experience off the Hopkins Coast which put us on some great snorkeling sites. It was nice not to be packed in with a bunch of fellow tourist we saw scrabbling the area. Lunch was provided and was delicious from the restaurant they own. While they were setting up for the shore lunch we saw some hungry bone fish and had a good pre lunch fight on the spinning real. Later on after some more snorkeling along some different reefs we set out to catch some snapper. Brought about 10 fish in, even the sporadic rain clouds left me in a good mood.
After about 7 hours out we headed back and Big Grouper cleaned some fish for us we headed back. Making fish tacos tonight. Thanks guys!
