Take a trip to the North of England and discover the quaint town of Amble. There you can book a fishing trip with Monarch Marine and discover what fish awaits in the waves of the North Sea. Captain Martin Smith and the crew will do their best that you have a jolly good time. Summers are especially popular, so if you’re interested in a weekend trip be sure to book in advance.
A single trip can accommodate groups of up to 10 guests, so it’s perfect for large family gatherings or groups of friends. You’ll be cruising the waves on board the Off Shore 105, an offshore sport fishing model from 2010. It is 34’ and it is fitted with a single Volo Penta engine that can reach speeds up to 12 kn. For your maximum fishing experience, fishfinding equipment is available.
This charter covers the inshore area of up to 20 miles. It also includes reef and wreck locations, though they are available depending on the weather. You can go after delicious Cod or Pollock, but you can also encounter Mackerel and other types of fish. When it comes to the fishing techniques available there are light and heavy tackle and spinning, just to name a few.
Children are generally welcome, still if the trip is demanding and the weather is problematic the crew might advise against it. IF you need help with your catch, a first mate is available. Be sure to get your UK fishing license before the trip, and you should bring your own equipment. If you don’t have it you can borrow onboard gear for a price. In case you catch legal amounts of fish you can keep it. Nevertheless, the crew will advise you to practice catch and release.
Use the opportunity of the summer months to give yourself a relaxing and scenic fishing trip with Monarch Marine.
