Captain Austin Villani is a seasoned and a passionate captain who has been fishing since he could hold a pole. He has been fishing Lake Michigan since 2010, and loves sharing his vast knowledge with the customers of all skill levels.

Fish aboard the “Resurrection ll,” a 35’ Viking offshore sportfishing boat with a roomy 14’ beam covered flybridge. Powered by two Crusader Fresh 454 ci engines with 350 HP each, this fishing machine is unstoppable on lake waters. The boat is outfitted with the latest navigational and safety equipment — Raymarine fishfinder GPS, a radar with autopilot, and two VHF radios.

The captain will show you the best lake fishing around and take you trolling for incredible species such as Steelhead, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Chinook and Coho Salmon. He’ll also be happy to have kids on his trips, don’t hesitate to bring your little ones along if they’re five or older.

Resurrection Sport Fishing offers several different packages, perfectly tailored to each client’s specific needs. Charters are operated weeknight and weekends. You will be provided with top-notch downriggers, quality gear, tackle, lures, and bait. The charter also provides water and you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. You’ll have a cooler on board just for those purposes.

The captain personally invites you to join him on Resurrection ll and experience the best Salmon and Trout fishing Lake Michigan has to offer. Your fishing experience is his number one priority and his business is built on return customers. All aboard!

I own and operate Resurrection Sport Fishing and have been fishing since I could hold a pole. At first, I worked as a first mate for six years and then got my captain's license. I always wanted to share my passion with others. My main goal is the safety of my guests and that everyone has a great fishing experience. The waters of Lake Michigan are my second home and I love to catch fish! You won't be disappointed.
