Rod Bender Fishing Charters invites you to join Captain Anthony Menichino for a fishing adventure in the waters of St Augustine, Florida. He is more than happy to accommodate children and provide hands-on training to those less experienced in the hobby.
His boat is a 26’ Cobia that’s powered by a twin 150 HP Yamaha engines. This vessel is one of the most comfortable riding boats out there, as you’ll soon find out. Not only that, but it comes equipped with radar, sonar, outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Anthony will take you to the areas that produce the most action. Those will usually include wrecks, reefs and the natural bottom. Of course, the most important factor will be what you’d like to catch on your trip.
If you plan on going nearshore, expect to encounter Flounder, Whiting, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper and other fun species. In the deeper offshore waters, you can look forward to varieties of Snapper, Grouper, Jacks, Kingfish, Cobia, Wahoo, Mahi and some Tuna.
Capt. Anthony is very happy to accommodate you by filleting your catch and bagging it up with ice. All you need to bring is hats, sunglasses, sun lotion (but no spray sun lotion), along with some food and drinks. He works hard to put you on the fish, and there’s plenty of fish in the sea out here!
