Capt Anthony was the best on all levels!  Very knowledgeable and kept us informed of what to expect the entire trip. He got us to all the right spots for lots of action. The Vermillion Snapper were biting good and we hooked up a Almaco Jack as well as some Grunts …. the Goliath Grouper were out there too. We stayed “reeling” and it was super fun. Capt Anthony is very personable and made you feel safe, relaxed and assured with his expertise. It was a bit choppy heading back in for the day but the boat and the Captain handled it well! We had a great experience and will definitely be back 100% for our next charter with Rod Bender. Highly recommend!

Capt. Anthony was fantastic, we had 6 in our family with 4 children. He has an awesome boat with a plenty of bait, and the first fish of the day was a 4’ hammerhead shark! The kids were going crazy, which he treated them great. Never once did he seem to get tired of baiting lines for them. And kept encouraging them, as well as instructing on how to get the fish to the boat. We had a great time with Capt Anthony,  he is very knowledgeable on where to find the fish and get us reeling them in as fast as possible.  My youngest daughter (7) caught by far the most fish of the day with around 15, but we all caught some so noone was bored.  Many different species, all beautiful and at the end of the day he cleaned the keepers for us. We highly recommend him for any fishing trips and are hoping to come back for another trip soon.

Captain Anthony was fantastic to work with and provided a great experience. Prior to the trip he reached out to check in and touch base. When we arrived he gave us the run down and away we went. He took my 2 sons and I out and set us up right on the fish. We caught a ton and we’re able to keep the majority. My sons had a fantastic time and learned a lot from Anthony. He gave us additional time to use the rest of the bait he had and relax a bit. It was a great day on the water with a wonderful captain. I would highly recommend Rod Benders and Captain Anthony to anyone looking to charter a trip.

Great day fishing in Saint Augustine with Rod Bender and crew!  It was a windy day with large swells off shore but Anthony and Jeff brought us to a great in shore spot where we all (2 adults and 3 kids) were on fish all day.  We caught 15 keepers and probably close to a hundred fish total between all of us! Sheepsheads, black drum, flounder, Pompano, and Blue fish were among the keepers. We also caught red snapper, mango snapper, amberjack, blowfish, toad fish, Black Sea bass, lots of lady fish, and I even caught a snow crab and a sting ray! Dinner taken care of for the next 3 or 4 nights! And Dolphins were feeding and playing around our boat all day too!
