Legacy Charters is a family-owned three-man show, with Capt. Mike Sr, Capt. Mike Jr, and Capt. Kyle together at the helm. They’ve operated vessels from New Jersey to South America and along the coast of Africa. You can always count on each one of them to get you to the fishing grounds and back to port safely.
Their 22’ Grady White boat is the perfect vessel for any type of nearshore trip in South Carolina. She’s powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, has plenty of fishing room for 2 anglers, and a solid hull. This is the boat of choice if you’re looking for a safe and comfortable ride.
A trip on this boat involves heading into Murrells Inlet, where you’ll be targeting a number of species ranging from Redfish to Spanish and King Mackerel. Shorter trips will stay in state waters at up to 7 miles, but you can expect to head up to 15 miles out on a full-day trip.
On the other hand, if you’re after some big Sharks, you have the option of meeting up with the captain in Georgetown, and going after the likes of Spinner Sharks, Blacktips, Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads, and others.
All tackle, bait, ice, and water are included. Please feel free to bring your own food and beverages of your choice. When you step aboard their boat you become part of a legacy, so be sure to come on down and make your angling dreams come true!
